Meet Mel
Author
Melissa is the founder of Millennial Publishing Co. She was born in Miami, Florida, and pays homage to the magical city’s rich colors and flavors through her talented eye for photography. Melissa lives her life with an appreciation for all of the wonders the world has to offer and it is why she was inspired to write children’s books.
Melissa’s goal is to inspire young readers to be curious, confident, strong, and compassionate. At the core of her stories is the importance of treating each other with kindness and respect.
“Children have a certain way of looking at the world that we tend to lose as we grow older. We lose our curiosity and our openness. These stories are close to my heart, and I hope that kids can connect with the message and maybe their parents too.”
